2112 School Of Musical Arts Programs
One On One Instruction
The 2112 School Of Musical Arts offers in depth study of all facets of guitar, bass guitar, vocal performance, keyboard/piano and drumming/percussion.
Here at 2112 School Of Musical Arts there are no contracts or enrollment fees. Lessons are available on a month by month basis. Individual instruction is available at our facility from Monday thru Saturday. 30-Minute and 60-Minute lessons times are available. The time length of lessons is based on student needs and attention span. Younger students (8-16) do best with 30-Minute lessons. Older students (16 and up) and those looking for quick advancement may choose 60-Minute lessons.
We offer personalized lesson plans instead of a fixed one-size-fits-all curriculum. This assures that each student is allowed to pursue their main musical interest, while developing the skills needed to succeed if their musical interests change later. With this approach our students remain excited about playing and keeps our drop out rates very low.
Our entire staff is very proud to stress the importance of teaching all of our students to read and write music for the instrument of their choice. With this, our students will be prepared for future professional opportunities that require this skill. Also, reading and writing music will allow our students to expand their playing skills using any number of great books available today.
To find a lesson time that meets your needs, please call the school at (919) 833-0046.
Focus Labs
We also offer "Focus Labs", or "one-off" lessons, which is a one time lesson with no monthly commitment. A Focus Lab is usually recommended for people that have been playing for a number of years and need help on one particular topic or technique. Focus Labs also work well for adults that can't commit to a weekly lesson due to work/family schedules and would like to schedule semi-regular lessons in order to continue working with a teacher.
"Let's Rock" Band Programs
We offer band programs for kids and adults. We've found that students who have the opportunity to participate in an actual band tend to practice more and are more likely to continue to enjoy their lessons. This program is open to students at any school and any skill level. For more information on the programs visit the 2112 Rock School.
